Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) is a non-denominational, non-government organization. AKRSP (I) was established in Gujarat in 1984 and it seeks to contribute to rural poverty reduction through community involvement and empowerment that leads to the efficient management and improved productivity of natural resources.
Role Overview:
AKRSP(I) is seeking dedicated and experienced Employability Skills Trainers to join our team. The trainers will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs in various employability sectors, including Retail, Digital Marketing, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Advanced Excel, and Power BI, Basic AI and coding. The goal is to equip youth from rural and semi-urban areas with the necessary skills to secure white-collar jobs.

Education: Graduate / Postgraduate (Computer Science /IT/Engineering/BCA/MCA/Technical Diploma in IT) with minimum 1-3 years of work experience in Training of IT skills like Advance excel, Data Analytics, Coding, employability skills and coordination of training programs along with placements.
Experience:
- 1 To 3 years in training and skill development, preferably in the targeted sectors.
- Experience working with rural and semi-urban youth is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for youths in the areas of Digital Marketing, BAFS, Advanced Excel, and Power BI.
- Utilize a variety of training methods to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking, Prepare and maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation as per project requirements
- Offer continuous support and mentorship to trainees, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their career goals.
- Facilitate the project implementation and placement process
- Build and maintain effective relationships with educational institutions, training centres, and employers
- Coordinate placement activities and ensure post-placement follow-up
- Manage and update MIS and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Support in organizing job fairs, employer meets, and review meetings
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in developing training materials and using various training methodologies.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Coordination, teamwork, self-starter with excellent project management skills
- Hands-on experience with Advanced Excel and Power BI is essential.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to different training locations within rural and semi-urban areas.
- Ready to fieldwork for rural and urban youth mobilization for the Skills and Enterprise project is approximately 30–40% compulsory.
- Fluency in local languages and dialects is an advantage.
- Passion for youth development and community engagement.
- Two-wheeler and valid Driving License (DL) – Mandatory
